Our Girls

Best thing I did in the last 12 months or so was invest in these 4 beauties… Bok Bok Bok… If you’ve got room, I encourage you to do the same. Their coop cost about $100, built from a second hand plastic kids’ cubby house, some star pickets and chicken wire. They’ve laid on average 2-4 eggs per day all together.

After reading this post, I find myself feeling equal parts envy, ideas, and motivation for my house…. Oh Landlord… Landlord!! Guess what we’re getting?

Also, please tell me that you used photoshop on the egg on toast shot to make the yolk that molten gold colour? If not, I’m definitely eating the wrong eggs.

Nope! That pic was taken on my phone… No manipulation whatsoever. There’s heaps of corn in their layer mash though 🙂 They’re so delicious. Bribe your landlord. One taste of these free-range eggs and he’ll let you stay forever.
